When I take my children to the park, I don’t want to have to jump over shopping carts and watch out for syringes on my way to the swings. Sorry to be blunt. These parks are created and maintained with the money we pay through taxes, and this law enforces that they stay clean.

I’m happy with the law.

At the end of the video, it mentions 14 people were arrested and released without charges. According to those arrested, they were charged with obstruction of justice. They were released with conditions that they not be in any municipal, provincial, or federal park. They are also not allowed in Grand Parade at city hall, where the Occupy Nova Scotia General Assemblies are held. I believe their court dates are in December.

The 3 who were arrested Saturday have since been released. One is reportedly allowed in parks. The other two had been arrested for violating their park bans and still face those conditions. They are prohibited from associating with each other.

Corporate greed has to stop running our governments and people into the ground. You would find information such as above by doing an internet search and keyword. “labor statistics”. Find out the truth before stating falsehoods and things in which you don’t know anything about.
